Oferta de empleo Marine Claims Service - Spain.

Main Responsibilities
• Technical inspection of vessels after incidents (groundings, collisions, fires, etc.).
• Assessment of structural and onboard systems damage.
• Preparation of technical and economic reports for insurance companies.
• Assessment and comparison of repair quotations from suppliers or service providers to support decision-making and budget control.
• Coordination with all involved parties, including repairers and other surveyors.
 
Requirements
• Minimum qualification: Degree in Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering / Chief engineer, or demonstrable experience as a Marine Surveyor / Project Manager.
• Three or more years of professional experience in the maritime industry.
• Strong knowledge of structures and onboard systems.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Ability to write technical reports in English.
• Proficiency in office software and willingness to learn technical tools.
• Valid driver’s license and availability to travel occasionally.
 
Highly Valued
• Sea-going experience on recreational vessels or ships.
• Training or experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques.
• Experience in refit projects or shipyard supervision.
• Knowledge of applicable technical standards (CE, ISO, etc.).
• Other languages.
